What your account stores
Your email and authentication credentials are managed by Supabase Auth. Your profile, lesson progress, submitted answers, assistance use, concept evidence, review schedule, garden, collection, and settings are stored in the application’s Supabase database. We use these records to provide your learning history, recommendations, reviews, and garden progress. Calculator use carries no penalty and is not published to other learners.
When you ask the tutor
Relevant math content, your answer, recent hints, preferred language, and the recent conversation for that question may be sent to DeepSeek to generate guidance. Your email and unrelated learning history are not part of tutor prompts. Private tutor turns are stored to support the current conversation. AI may make mistakes; authored worked solutions remain the grading reference. Please avoid including sensitive personal information in tutor messages.
Cookies and local preferences
Authentication uses session cookies. Your chosen interface language is also saved locally in your browser. The separate sample study room uses a temporary session that expires one hour after it starts. It does not create an account, sync learning records, grant account rewards, or call a paid AI service. Its guidance is prewritten. This beta includes no advertising, payments, public profiles, or third-party behavioural analytics. Authentication and security providers may use cookies or similar technologies to operate their services and prevent abuse.
Retention, access, and deletion
We keep your account, learning, and tutor records while your account exists, until you delete it. Sign in to review your learning history and preferences. You can permanently delete your account from Settings after re-entering your password and completing human verification. This removes your authentication account, application profile, and associated learning, tutoring, and garden records from the active database.
Anonymous AI request counts and cost reservations are retained without an account identifier so account deletion cannot reset the service’s shared spending limits. These accounting records do not contain tutor messages. Provider infrastructure logs and any backups are managed according to the providers’ policies and service settings. Deleting an account does not necessarily immediately erase those logs or backup copies.
Service providers and international processing
Vercel hosts the application and processes requests and operational logs. Supabase provides authentication and the application database. Our Supabase project is hosted in Seoul, South Korea (AWS ap-northeast-2).
Resend delivers account confirmation and password recovery emails, processing the recipient address, email contents, and delivery information. hCaptcha provides human verification and abuse protection, processing verification responses and technical information such as IP addresses and browser or device information.
DeepSeek provides optional AI tutoring using the information described above. These providers may process information outside your country, including outside the database’s selected region. Their linked privacy policies explain their processing and retention practices.
